The Windsor Residence for Young Men is asking for the public's help.
Executive Director Greg Goulin says the residence is teaming up with The Home Depot Canada Foundation to raise funds for the organization.

He says customers will be asked to donate $2 at the checkout at the Home Depot store at Walker & Division Roads for the group.
Goulin says all money raised will go towards the residence.
"They sell or ask you to buy orange Christmas trees for $2 at the checkout and all the funds and usually we find that the employees as well add a little bit more from their own pockets, all the funds go to the selected charity of the particular store," says Goulin.
He says the store, foundation and the community always assist the residence.
"The Home Depot store at Walker and Division has always been a strong supporter of us as well as the foundation itself," says Goulin. "From the very beginning when we opened our doors in 2012, the next year they supplied us funding that's the foundation itself to install two showers."
He says there is no fundraising goal, but the campaign has raised about $12,000 in past years.
The fundraiser kicked off on Thursday and wraps up on December 16th.
The residence supports young men between the ages of 16 and 24 trying to leave homelessness behind to build new lives.
