With the school year coming to an end, one local pizzeria is recognizing students who receive an "A" on their report card.
President of Antonino's Original Pizza, Joe Ciaravino, says students will get a free slice of pizza for receiving at least one "A" grade.
"I think this is the fifth year that we've been doing it and the response has been overwhelming," says Ciaravino. "Last year we gave away about 900 slices across our three locations and the feedback from the community has been awesome. People seem to really appreciate it, the parents, the children."
Ciaravino says this year's promotion will take place on July 3rd and 4th along with July 30th.
"They bring in their June report card and as long as they have at least one A, they get a free slice," says Ciaravino. "We stamp their report card just to keep everybody honest."
The promotion is for elementary, secondary and post-secondary students.
