The Fraser Institute is out with its annual rankings of Ontario's secondary schools.
Locally, the list shows most schools are improving or scoring the same from the previous year.
For the second year in a row, Vincent Massey scored the highest in Windsor-Essex with an 8.2 out of 10 rating, good for 50th overall.
The next local school on the list is St. Anne's in Lakeshore at 57 with a 8.1 rating.
The research organization ranks 740 schools from across the province based on math and literacy test results.
St. Michael's Senior Choir School in Toronto was 1st overall with a perfect 10 out of 10 score.
Bellewood Elementary School was the highest rated local elementary school, scoring a 9.3 out of 10, to place 35th out of 2,900 Ontario elementary schools.
