A drug bust in the City of Windsor.
The Windsor Police Drugs and Guns Unit arrested four people on Friday after an investigation dealing with the suspected trafficking of illegal drugs.
Constable Tayla Natyshak says a search warrant was executed at a home in the 1600 block of Highland Ave. and several drugs were seized including meth, crack cocaine and fentanyl.
"Several different kinds of drugs were seized and that is fantastic for the city that those drugs are now off the streets and out of the hands of our citizens," says Natyshak. "Anytime we can get any quantity of drugs off the streets is a good thing for our community absolutely."
The value of the drugs has not been released.
Police also located a quantity of Canadian currency.
Three suspects were arrested at the home while a fourth was arrested in the 300 block of Riverside Dr. E.
