The New Jersey Devils have traded Adam Henrique

A trade in the NHL.

The New Jersey Devils have sent centre Adam Henrique to Anaheim along with forward Joseph Blandisi and 2018 3rd-round draft pick.

In return the Devils receive defenceman Sami Vatanen and a conditional draft pick.

Henrique, who helped the Spitfires win back-to-back Memorial Cup championships, was selected by the Devils in the 3rd round, 82nd overall in the 2008 entry draft.

In 24 games this season, Henrique has 4 goals and 14 points.

In 455 career games with the Devils, Henrique has collected 122 goals and 257 points.

The 26-year-old Vatanen has one goal and four points in 15 games this season.
