Ken Miller was charged following an investigation by Ontarios police watchdog
A former Chatham-Kent police officer has been charged with sex-related offences that allegedly happened in November 2014.
Kenneth Miller faces one count of sexual assault and one count of breach of trust by a public officer following an investigation by Ontario's police watchdog.
The Special Investigations Unit was contacted by the Chatham-Kent Police Service in March after a woman made a complaint against a man when he was an active officer.
Miller was arrested by members of the SIU and later released with several conditions, including not communicating directly or indirectly with the complainant.
He's scheduled to appear in court in Chatham on December 11th.
