An estimated 20,000 people made their way to Riverfront Festival Plaza for Fork and Cork over the weekend.
Local food and beverage were mixed in with Canadian headline-acts The Trews, and Finger Eleven.
Co-organizer Cory Clarkson says seeing so many people come out despite bad weather opening night was amazing.
Clarkson admits there were a few moments when he though downpours might derail the show.
He told AM800 News, close to 5,500 people still made it out to see Fuel and The Trews Friday.

"It was really bad, one tent flew over the fence, the tents were full of water, they were knocking them down," Clarkson says. "Some of the fans were having fun getting wet staying in the water as it was coming down, so that was pretty cool."

Many braved the downpour for Fuel @FNCwindsor, I wasn't one of them, I retreated to a tent with hundreds of others. ☔️ pic.twitter.com/cA5DAWITy6

The sky opened up one last time Friday while Fuel was on stage, but Clarkson says it was clear sailing from there.
Saturday night's show featuring Finger Eleven and Tonic drew more than 9,500 people.
"Saturday was unbelievable, the crowd was amazing, we were full, we actually sold out," says Clarkson. "Tonic and Finger Eleven, all the bands ahead of them were just unbelievable. The crowd was feeding off them all night."
Clarkson says this festival season has shown people in Windsor-Essex are supporting locally made products, and productions.
"Festivals are coming back, I think people are enjoying them, enjoying the local brews and food that we're bringing in, it's growing that way," he added. "We're going to be doing another one in Amherstburg in September called the WE [Windsor-Essex] Harvest Festival. We're going to hopefully bring the same quality acts, food, and beverages there."
Clarkson says rain definitely hindered the festivals chance of beating their attendance record of around $24,000, but he's thankful for everyone who came out to make the weekend a success.
