A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for WindsorEssex and ChathamKent

***A severe thunderstorm watch has ended***

Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm watch after advising isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and continue early this evening. These thunderstorms will be very slow-moving and capable of producing 50 to 75 mm of rain.
