Ford Sets Sales Record For August

Overall sales were up 7 last month

A record-setting month for Ford Motor Company of Canada.

Overall sales increased by 7% year-over-year in August.

Highlighting the list is the sale of more than 15,000 Ford F-Series pickups — that's good for a 10% increase and an all-time August sales record.

The figures also show the Explorer, Expedition, Fusion and Taurus all saw sales increases compared to August of 2017.

Lincoln sales increased by 5% last month.
