The Ford City BIA has launched a new marketing campaign.
It's called "Ford City Original."
BIA Executive Director Bridget Scheuerman says there is a resurgence in the area and the BIA is hoping to attract small and medium sized businesses.
"What we're looking for is to entice entrepreneurs and individuals who have products that they make themselves and they are original to the area of their expertise," says Scheuerman.
Scheuerman says local real estate agents are also working with the BIA.
"We're not looking for big box stores, chain stores," says Scheuerman. "We're looking for individuals who have a special product and if you think of something original, something that is different you're going to think of Ford City."
Scheuerman says the campaign will include digital, social and print along with signage in and around the area.
