The Leamington Flyers draw first blood, topping the LaSalle Vipers 5-2 in Game 1 of their GOJHL round two playoff series.
Blake Bain opened the scoring for the Flyers, but the Vipers tied the game up before the end of the first period through Dede Cato.
Bain would score two more to get the hattrick, including the game-winner.
Liam Hogan and Brett Vorshuk had the other goals for the Flyers while Daniel Beaudoin also scored for the Vipers.
Noah Hendrick made 28 saves for the win.
Game 2 is set for Thursday night in Leamington. Puck-drop is set for 7:10pm.
