The Leamington Flyers avoided elimination by beating the Komoka Kings 4-1 in Leamington in their Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League series.
The Flyers now trail that Western Conference best-of-sven semi-final -32, with game six set for Saturday night in Komoka.
It was one nothing Flyers after one period, and two one heading into the third before a pair of unanswered goals sealed the victory.
Johnny Ulicny scored twice to power the Leamington attack, while Michael Andrews and Zach Taylor added the singles.
Blake McConnell-Barker scored the lone goal for the Kings.
Goalie Zach Borgiel made 21 saves to earn the win.
If a seventh game is necessary it would take place in Leamington on Sunday night.
