Griffin Robinson scored with less than five minutes to play in regulation to give the Leamington Flyers a 4-3 win over Sarnia in the opening game of their best-of-7 Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League Western Conference quarterfinal series.
The Flyers scored twice in the third period to erase a 3-2 Sarnia lead.
Brett Vorshuk and Scott Florence each had a goal and an assist for Leamington.
Noah Hedrick made 32 saves to pick up the win.
Game 2 in the series goes Saturday in Sarnia.
