Ivan Provorov scored the go-ahead goal for Philadelphia while Oskar Lindblom added some insurance with a late goal, which was his second of the night.
Carter Hart stopped 37 of 38 for the Flyers, who have won 12 of their last 14.
Darren Helm scored the lone goal for Detroit. Jonathan Bernier and Jimmy Howard each allowed a goal apiece for the Red Wings.
Bernier exited the game with an upper-body injury. Detroit has lost two straight.
The Red Wings host Chicago in NHL action on Wednesday.
