The Essex Region Conservation Authority says there's a risk of flooding along the shores of Lake Erie.
A watershed conditions statement was issued Sunday and will continue into Monday morning with wind gusts expected to hit 30 km/hr.
Leamington and Point Pelee could see shoreline erosion and flooding with water levels already at record highs in the region, according to the release.
Residents should take care along the shore with the possibility of slippery banks, waves overtopping shoreline structures, and fast moving water, ERCA says.
