A wide range of topics covered at Councillor Hilary Payne's annual ward meeting.
Flooding has dominated the discussion at several other ward meetings, but on Wednesday night Ward 9 residents spoke about issues like climate change, park improvements and nuisance geese.
Alex Stevanov lives in the ward and says he believes the city is taking climate change seriously.
"I came to see how proactive the mayor is being with respect to climate change and I like the fact that he's informing everyone that this climate change that we're seeing is not about the one hundred year storm. I'm very content that the mayor is taking this extremely seriously."
Resident Tom Fox says he came out to say thanks.
"I wanted to see what the city had to say about what's going on in Ward 9. I've basically lived in the ward all my life. I'm appreciating the lack of flooding in this area this time around. When I was a kid we saw some heavy duty flooding around here."
Joseph Perpich says he'd like to see a four-way stop added in his neighbourhood.
"I live at Turner and Foster area. I did come to inquire about a four-way stop sign that would alleviate a traffic problem there. We had an accident the day before yesterday and that must be one of hundreds. I'm surprised we never got four-ways 20 years ago."

Judy Romeo lives in the ward as well and says geese have become a problem.
"It's a big problem by Talbot Trail school and it's not like there's 25 or 50, there are 500 some days. It's dangerous for the kids because they have to walk right by them, the trail is there. Me and my husband, we pay taxes and we can't even walk the track because they're hissing at us."
Resident Bruce Sawyer says he's happy to hear the city will be spending money on parks in the ward.
"The reason we came out is for the parks and it came into the capital budget for next year to improve it. We found out that, yes, they're going to do a few things and not sure what exactly yet is going to happen, but that's what they plan. So we got our question answered."
Ward meetings continue Thursday night in Ward 3 with Councillor Rino Bortolin.
That meeting gets underway at 6:30pm at the Windsor Public Library's Central Branch.
