FCA Canada is sending the afternoon shift home from the Windsor Assembly Plant.
Flooding has impacted the facility.
Despite the early quit time for the afternoon crew, the midnight shift is asked to report as normal.
FCA has not indicated the extent of damage the flooding may have caused.
Environment Canada reports between 80 to 150 mm (3 to 6 in) of rain had fallen between LaSalle and Tecumseh over a four hour period today.
