Essex Region Conservation Authority says heavyrain and wetgroundconditions could cause flooding in WindsorEssex

Essex Region Conservation Authority says heavy-rain and wet-ground-conditions could cause flooding in Windsor-Essex Sunday.

The watch extends throughout the area, but low-lying areas and property near major waterways and shorelines are most at risk.

Windsor-Essex could receive up to 30 mm of rain Sunday in addition to the 15 to 25 mm of rain that have already fallen in the region Friday and Saturday, according to release by ERCA.

The flood-watch ends Monday at 9am.
