The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority has issued a flood warning for a number of areas along the lower Thames River.
One of those areas include Lakeshore's Lighthouse Cove community.
The authority says the area is at risk for potential flooding as high water levels flow through Chatham downstream at the mouth of the Thames River at Lake St. Clair.
Sand and sand bags are available free of charge at the Tremblay Beach Conservation Area and at the end of Haven Avenue at Tisdelle Drive.

The town is reminding residents to monitor water levels for the next 48 hours and to use extra caution and avoid the river, ditches and streams.
Lakeshore Mayor Tom Bain will be attending a media conference on Saturday (9am) held by Chatham-Kent Mayor Randy Hope.
