Chatham's TJ Brodie is heading home from the Calgary Flames locker room sooner than he wanted.
The team failed to make the playoffs and Brodie wasn't even sure he would be able to play if they did.
He's recovering from a concussion after he was hit in a game against Vegas.
Brodie spoke with the media during locker cleanout and says this wasn't this wasn't his best season.
He says the system he was playing in didn't make the most of his skills because he's better offensively, adding he wants to come back next season playing the way he did two years ago.
