Flags are on the agenda at the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School board.
Trustees are working on a flag flying policy after a student asked that the Pride flag be flown at all Catholic high schools.
Trustee Fabio Costante says that prompted a review by administration. "I believe our request went to our policy department at the board to look at what's our flag protocol, how do we decide these matters? And we've come to the conclusion, or administration has come to the conclusion, that our flag policy maybe wasn't developed as it should be."
The local board has been checking with other school boards about their flag policies.
Costante says they're now looking for public input before voting on a new policy at the board's January 31st meeting.
