The President and CEO of Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare is celebrating an anniversary.
Janice Kaffer is marking her fifth year with the organization.
She was hired as Chief Nursing Executive at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital prior to the re-alignment of health care services in Windsor-Essex and was later named President and CEO of Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare when Ken Dean retired.
Kaffer says she's enjoying her time with the organization.
"I can tell you honestly it's been full of a ton of surprises, a very interesting journey, never expected to be the CEO of Hotel Dieu Grace Health Care and after five years I can say I'm still learning new things pretty much everyday," says Kaffer.
Kaffer says she feels a part of the community and is looking forward to the next five years and beyond.
She says the area will most likely see movement on the new hospital proposal during that time frame.
