A pair of fires kept first responders busy in Chatham Saturday morning.
Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services arrived to find heavy flames on the second floor of a home at 46 Gray St. around midnight.
The fire was quickly put out and no one was hurt — the cause is still under investigation.
Damage is estimated at $125,000.
A vacant house east of Thamesville at 14641 Longwoods Rd. was found ablaze around 5:30am in a separate incident.
That fire was also quickly extinguished just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators says the house has been vacant for long time and the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
