An early morning fire in Chatham-Kent caused more than $800,000 damage to a commercial property.
It happened on 14-Line near Dillon Rd. in Merlin Ont. just after 2am Saturday morning.
Four stations from throughout Chatham-Kent responded to the blaze that tore through three garage-structures, an office, fuel tanks, and four harvest-silos.
The damage to the trucking and storage-company is so extensive, investigators say, "the actual cause could not be determined."
Firefighters were able pull a dog from the fire and move vehicles away from the flames to prevent more damage.
Chatham Fire and Emergency Services reports fire-crews were able to prevent $2-million in damage to surrounding property by containing the fire.
No one was injured.
