So far, seven dogs have been adopted

The final Hurricane Harvey rescue dog at the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society is ready for adoption.

When Hurricane Harvey hit Texas this summer, several volunteers traveled to Texas to help out and bring back animals that had lost their homes.

The group brought back eight dogs.

All the dogs have been adopted, except for Sammy.

Sammy is two-years-old.  He was shot and the nerve damage from the bullet caused him to drag his leg and open a wound.

He is looking for a home to train him, love him and care for him.
