The University of Windsor has some cash on the way to help address teen and youth dating violence.
Canada's Health Minister Ginette Petitpas-Taylor announced the government will spend $1.8-million over five years to fund two projects meant to tackle gender-based violence Monday.
The university is sharing the funding with the Boost Child and Youth Advocacy Centre in Toronto.
Windsor's share will fund its Girl, You Got this Project with a focus on delivering intervention and helping young women resist sexual coercion and assault.
