Nurses at Fiat Chrysler in Windsor have a tentative agreement.
The Ontario Nurses Association (ONA) and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles avoided a strike after hammering out the contract over the weekend.
ONA represents 16 nurses at the plant — including three full-time, 13 part-time.
A ratification vote will take place on Thursday.
A strike could've affected production at the Windsor Assembly Plant if Unifor Local 444 — which represents the plant workers — ended up respecting the picket line and not crossing it.
Wages and benefits were listed as some of the key issues.
