FCA Canada Sales Slide In August

Overall the company sold 10 fewer vehicles than in the same month of last year

FCA Canada is reporting mixed results from August sales.

Overall, the company sold 10% fewer vehicles than in the same month of 2017.

Some brands and models were more on an upswing — after several months of decline, sales of the Windsor-built Dodge Grand Caravan inched up 2% compared to last August.

The Chrysler Pacifica hit a pothole with sales dropping 42%.

The Jeep Wrangler sold well with an increase of 41% year over year.

In the United States, FCA sales increased 10% compared to August 2017 with Pacifica sales up 20%.
