The facade rehabilitation work on the Paul Martin building in downtown Windsor is now complete.
Spokesperson with Public Works and Government Services Canada Jeremy Link says scaffolding at 185 Ouellette Ave is expected to be fully removed by early February.
Colonial Building Restoration of Scarborough won the $3-million contract to fix the crumbling facade. Revenue Canada workers in the building raised concerns about pieces falling off the building's exterior.
Repair work began in April 2016.
The federal government sold the building to the city for one-dollar and the hope is the University of Windsor will use the building as a law school.
