The London Lightning have drawn first blood in their National Basketball League of Canada playoff series with the Windsor Express.
Garrett Williamson scored 25 points to lead the Lightning to a 109-107 win over the Express in the opening game of their Central Division final in London Friday night.
Windsor trailed at the half 57-49 but outscored London by 10 points in the third quarter to grab the lead.
Tony Bennett lead the Express with 20 points, while Darren Duncan and Juan Pattillo each had 16 points.
Game 2 in the best-of-7 series goes Sunday afternoon in London at 3pm.
