The Windsor Express (11-12) used a strong third quarter to steam past the Edge (15-9) 118-102 last night in St John's.
St. John's went on a 9-and-0 run late in the first half to trail by just two points at halftime. However, the Express put up 36 points in the third, to increase their lead to 15 points heading into the final frame en route to victory.
Omar Strong led the Express with 22 points, adding four rebounds and an assist.
Logan Stutz added 20 points for Windsor accompanied by five rebounds.
The St. John's Edge are back in action tonight for a rematch against the Express.
