Patrol officers spotted the suspect in the area of Victoria Ave. and Wyandotte St. W. at 545pm Thursday afternoon
A 27-year-old Windsor man is in custody and 5-lbs of explosives have been recovered by Windsor Police Services.
The owner told investigators that 10 half-pound containers of unmixed tannerite were inside the vehicle -- tannerite is used in target practice and can explode when mixed with other agents and hit by a high powered projectile.
Patrol officers spotted the suspect in the area of Victoria Ave. and Wyandotte St. W. at 5:45pm Thursday afternoon — he was arrested without incident. He's charged with Break and Enter, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000.
