Windsor and Essex County residents experienced warm spring-like weather and thick fog on the weekend.
With temperatures hitting 13 C on Saturday, it broke a record high of 9.4 C set back in 1957.
But Environment Canada's Senior Climatologist, David Phillips says don't pack your winter gear just yet because the cold weather is not over.
"Don't be seduced into thinking it's over," Phillips says. "Nature is just teasing you with some spring-like weather."
Phillips says the fog should dissipate in the morning.
Windsor will see cloudy weather on Monday, with a high of 7 C (44 F) and a 60 per cent chance of showers in the morning and early in the afternoon.
The forecast says temperatures will dip back below zero with a chance of flurries next weekend.
"We've had colder and more snow than we've had last year, so there's been more of a winter," Phillips says. "But we've also had these interludes of rather balminess, so it hasn't been rough at all. Most people would say the winter has been kinder than they thought it was going to be."
Phillips wants to remind people there was snow in Windsor last May.
"It's not over until it's over."
