Deficit reduction, income taxes and expanded hours for the Beer Store and LCBO are some of the highlights released in the Fall Economic Statement.
It was Ontario's Progressive Conservative government's first major fiscal update since the party took office in June.
Ontario Finance Minister Vic Fedeli says the PC government has cut the province's deficit by $500-million reducing the deficit down to $14.5-billion.
But it is also taking in $2.7-billion less in revenue.
The minister also promised to eliminate provincial income taxes for people earning less than $30,000 a year.
The government also vowed to expand hours of operation at Beer Stores and the LCBO, by allowing them to stay open seven days a week until 11pm.
