The funeral plans for legendary singer Aretha Franklin will include a four-day celebration of her life.
Officials announced today that Franklin's body will lie in repose at the Charles H. Wright Museum for African American History and the viewing will be open to the public.
A concert to pay tribute to the singer is planned, but the location has not been finalized.
Franklin's funeral will be August 31st at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit and will be for family and close friends only.
