Lori Chadwick started her new job on May 27
The Town of Essex has a new Director of Development Services.
Lori Chadwick replaces Chris Nepszy who took over as the town's new Chief Administrative Officer in March.
Chadwick was recently with the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority as U.S. Properties Director.
She has also spent time with the Town of Kingsville, City of Detroit and Dillon Consulting in both management and planning positions.
Her role as Director of Development Services is to provide leadership and direction in planning, building, by-law enforcement and economic development.
Chadwick started her new role on May 27.
