A young man is in hot water after rolling his vehicle in Essex.
On Thursday night just after 10:30pm, Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Laird Ave where an SUV had come to rest on its side against a building.
After speaking with the driver, officers determined him to be under the influence of alcohol and a roadside test was administered.
The driver was then arrested and brought into a detachment for a breath test which produced a result above the legal limit.
As a result, 23-year-old Zakery Thomas McManus was charged with operation while impaired and his license has been suspended for 90 days.
Police are reminding residents to pull over and call 911 immediately if they suspect someone is driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
