The driver of the van that struck a motorcycle faces drunk driving charges
OPP have charged the driver of a van that struck and killed 2 people on a motorcycle in Tecumseh.
The names of the two people on the motorcycle have also been released — 66-year-old Larry and Patricia Best.
They were driving south on Manning Rd. on Sunday at about 4:30pm when struck by an eastbound van at County Rd, 46.
The 54-year-old driver of the van was arrested at the scene.
Gerald Decoste of Essex is charged with two counts each of impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death and driving a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in the blood causing death.
