A public open house dealing with Cannabis Retail Stores is happening Tuesday night in Harrow.
The Town of Essex wants to hear from residents on where they would like the retail shops.
As heard on AM800 news in January, Essex council voted in favour of opting-in.
Councillor Chris Vander Doelen says the town is looking for public feedback.
"We want to find out what voters and residents think about cannabis retailing in their communities," says Vander Doelen. "Do they want it downtown, do they want it in industrial area, do they want it in a vault just whatever they think. We're looking for some feedback from our town centres."
He adds he's unsure what the attendance will be like but is hoping residents for and against show up.
"Some people think we're going to see a dozen or so, so people think it might be more we'll find out we'll see," says Vander Doelen. "It is a very topical subject so I'm hoping a few people turn out."
The meeting starts at 6pm and will held at the Harrow Community Centre.
