The 73s score five unanswered goals to knock out Amherstburg in a fourgame sweep

The number one seeded Essex 73's have advanced to the Provincial Junior Hockey League Stobbs Division Final after beating the Admirals 5-2 at the Libro Centre to sweep that semi final in four straight games.

The Admirals led 2-1 after a period, thanks to goals from Michael Hatch and Travis Campbell, however it was all Essex after that.

Michael Vieira had the first period goal for the 73's and also added a late empty netter to seal the victory.

William Stadder also had a pair for Essex, and Tyler Beneteau scored the game winner.

The 73's will take on either Lakeshore or Dresden in the best-of-seven championship series, with the Canadiens leading 3-1 after winning 4-2 on Sunday.

Game 5 in that series will take place Tuesday night at the Atlas Tube Centre.
