Two Essex County men have been arrested after someone spotted a man carrying what appeared to be a gun.
Around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, Windsor police were called to the area of Wyandotte St. West and Rankin Ave. after seeing two men getting out of a car, one of them carrying a handgun and the other a knife.
They approached a victim, who ran and called police.
Officers located the suspect vehicle and arrested the two men.
Police found a black pellet gun, a knife and a small amount of fentanyl.
Both men, one from Essex and the other from Amherstburg have been charged with weapons and drug offences.
The investigation found the weapon was actually an air pistol, but looked like a real handgun.
