It's back to the bargaining table for CUPE Local 2974 and Essex County Library management.
The union along with library officials will head back to the table with a provincial mediator on November 25th.
Library Board Chair Richard Meloche says he's optimistic a deal can be reached.
"Everytime you get back to the table, I would say there's an opportunity to try to come up with some kind of new plan that's one side or the other all of a sudden sees something in a different light," says Meloche.
Meloche says the board asked the union earlier this week to head back to the table.
The union agreed Wednesday around 3pm.
On June 25th, 58 full and part time workers walked off the job to back contract demands resulting in the closure of 14 Essex County Library branches.
Sick time remains a key issue in the dispute.
The last time the two sides met at the table with a provincial mediator was back on September 13th & 14th.
