Work began in 2013 on 6million in upgrades
The overhaul of the Essex Civic Centre is now entering its final stages.
Renovations began in 2013 with the total project cost expected to come in at just over $6-million.
Essex County Council has approved $1.2-million to be spent on the latest phase which includes interior work to offices and washrooms.

Warden Tom Bain says some departments in the building have outgrown their space.
"What we're doing is completing, updating the civic centre itself, making it more accessible, changing around some of the rooms," says Bain. "So there's a need for more offices and, of course, along with that goes a number of renovations making them larger and accessible."
Bain says the last of the interior work is expected to wrap up by the fall.
The county took over full ownership of the Civic Centre in November of last year.
