Erie Shores HealthCare in Leamington is relaxing masking rules.
Hospital officials say declining respiratory illness activity has allowed them to scale back masking requirements.
Staff and physicians don’t have to wear them when within two metres of a patient anymore.
Instead, it’ll be left up to the health care worker to decide when to wear one.
Patients are asked to wear a mask when outside their bed space.
