An advisory remains in effect from the Essex Region Conservation Authority.
It says due to the strong winds out of the west, there is a chance of near shore ice damage and erosion with wave overtopping and spray.
In the areas of direct wave hit, there could also been breakwall damage.
The areas most affected are the west side of Leamington, west of Point Pelee National Park and the east portions of Kingsville.
The advisory remains in effect until 9pm Wednesday.
