The Essex Region Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch for Windsor-Essex County.
The organization says that flooding is a possibility due to wet ground conditions and current weather forecasts.
Winds are predicted to reach up to 45 kilometres per hour tonight with a potential for up to 55 mm of rain.
ERCA says low lying areas along the Detroit River and Lake Erie are the most at risk.
The organization will continue to monitor the weather and provide updates as required.
