The Essex Region Conservation Authority is warning of possible flooding along Lake Erie shorelines.
The authority has issued a Flood Watch as high winds out of the south combined with high lake levels may cause flooding in Amherstburg, Essex, Kingsville, Leamington and Pelee Island.
ERCA is urging residents to take extra caution near rivers, streams and shorelines as the heavy winds may also cause waves to crash over breakwalls.
The watch is in effect until noon Tuesday, but may be extended as high winds are in the forecast for the remainder of the week.
