The Essex Region Conservation Authority has issued a flood warning for portions of Leamington
Due to the strong winds from the west and southwest blowing at 40 kilometres/hour and gusting up to 60 km/h, flooding is occuring along portions of Robson Road and Point Pelee Drive
ERCA says in the affected areas, portions of the road and private lands are covered with water.
A flood watch remains in effect for the east limit of Essex, Kingsville and the west of Point Pelee National Park and the west side of Pelee Island.
There are reports of waves overtopping for portions of Point Pelee Drive.
Meantime, waves have been spotted overtopping portions of Point Pelee Dr.
The watch is in effect until Wednesday at 9am.
