Entegrus is giving back to local municipalities this holiday season.
The company, who is providing management services for E.L.K. Energy, has donated thousands of dollars to Lakeshore, Kingsville, and Essex.
In Lakeshore, $10,000 has been donated for illuminating the community with a holiday light display. Specifically, residents will benefit from the purchase of the light displays that will be located in Belle River and Comber.
In Kingsville, a few organizations were selected and given funding.
The Kingsville BIA has received $3,000 for enhancements to the business district. The Kingsville Community Centre has also received $3,000 to support programming for seniors.
The Arts Society of Kingsville has received $2,000 for their continued facilitation of arts workshops. And the Music Society of Kingsville has also $2,000 for ensuring a continuation of concerts and cultural experiences.
And lastly, $10,000 was donated to a variety of organizations in Essex and Harrow, where each organization will receive $1,000.
Those receiving funding include the Harrow and Colchester South Chamber, the Essex BIA, the Rotary Club of Essex, the Harrow Rotary Club, the Harrow Kinsmen, the Essex Optimist Club, the Essex Food Bank, Project Hope in Harrow, LIFE, and Lola's Roundtable.
Entegrus operates and maintains electricity distribution systems for over 62,000 customers in Southwestern Ontario.
