Windsor police are on the hunt for a suspect after a home invasion on the weekend where an elderly woman was robbed in her own home.
Officers were called 5am on Saturday, December 8th to a home in the 1400 block of Central Ave. near Metcalfe for a break and enter.
An elderly woman was home alone when she came across an intruder.
The suspect gathered some jewelry and fled out the front door, northbound on foot.
The woman wasn't hurt.
The suspect had entered the home by breaking open a window.
The suspect is a white man, 18 to 20-years-old, small build, about 5'0, 120lbs, clean shaven wearing a black knee length winter coat and hood.
